Daniele Richiedei

Daniele Richiedei obtained her degree and master's degree at Luca Marenzio Conservatory in Brescia and specializes in prof. Marco Rizzi in Detmold, Germany.

At the same time she studied self-taught jazz music and participates in the courses of Siena Jazz, Nuoro Jazz and Center de Musiques Didier Lockwood in Paris.

He received numerous awards, including the Zorzella Prize 'Best Jazz Talent 2013', the Marenzio 2011 Prize, the Enrica Cremonesi Award in 2009, scholarships for merit at the summer seminars of 'Siena jazz 2009' and those of 'Nuoro Jazz 2010'.

He has performed solo with orchestra in important contexts, such as the Grande Teatro di Brescia and the international violinist festival "Gasparo da Salò".

Composer Paolo Ugoletti has dedicated the Concerto for Electric Violin and String Orchestra (2010), which he sees as a soloist and improviser.

Violinist with many facets, he performs intense concert performances both in jazz and in classical and contemporary chamber music, collaborating regularly with some of the best Italian musicians.

He has just released his first album as leader and composer, "Dark Room", devoted to the profound revision of Franco Margola's music.
