Luca Gusella graduated in Milan in 1986 with Franco Campioni.
He won the 80th prize at the Lymphatic Laboratory in Alexandria and won 2nd and 3rd place respectively at the concerts of the Symphony Orchestra of Sicily and of the Italian Youth Orchestra.
He has collaborated with major orchestras: Regional Tuscany, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Sicilian Symphony, Lugano Radio, Chamber Orchestra of Mantua, Chamber Orchestra of Padua and so on. He was a Timpanist of the Bergamo Orchestra from 1993 to 1997.
He played in orchestras of Ray Charles, Barry White, Giorgio Gaslini and Franco Battiato on Italian tour, and collaborated with Maurizio Ben Omar (Naqqara), Ludovico Einaudi, Carlo Boccadoro (Sentieri Selvaggi) and Mario Brunello.
In 1990 he founded, together with B. Sciuto, the duo of marimba "Doblel", continuing with R. Balbinutti and performing for numerous theaters and associations.
As a vibrationist he has engraved with Giorgio Gaslini, Ennio Morricone and New Art Ensemble.
Since 1986 she has been teaching percussion, improvisation and music at the Permanent Education Center of Via Recanati in Milan.
