He finished his musical studies under the guidance of V.Bianchi, graduating in 1977 with the highest marks at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
Winner of national and international competitions (Stresa, Ancona, "Auditorium" of RAI, Cesena), then undertook an intensive chamber and orchestral activities. Founder of historical groups (Quintet Arnold, Ottone Classico Italiano, etc.) with whom he performed in the world's leading concert halls, for 15 years Leonardo Dosso was Primo Fagotto of Milan RAI Symphony Orchestra - not to mention the practice of the baroque and classic bundle.
He has worked with prestigious ensembles such as Lindsay Quartet, Arditti Quartet, Netherland Bläsersolisten, Baroque Complex (A.Curtis), Byzantine Academy, Italian Concert, Barochists, and many others.
As a soloist he has performed with the Symphonic RAI Orchestra of Milan, Sinfonica RAI of Naples, the Accademia Orchestra of Parma, the Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan, the Angelicum of Milan and others. He is also a professor at the Conservatives of Parma, Novara and the Civic School of Music in Milan.
He currently holds the same position at the Conservatory of Milan.
