He has completed his musical studies at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan.
In the years 1989/91/92 he followed the Wiener Meisterkurse with David Russell and various masterclasses by Oscar Ghiglia, Leo Brouwer and David Tanenbaum.
He received the first prize at the Lagonegro International Contemporary Music Competition, at the International Competition "Mauro Giuliani" in Bari and at the International Competition of Scandinavian Guitar Festival.
He has held concerts in Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, Canada and Germany. He has collaborated with the Quartetto Borciani, with the Divertimento Ensemble and with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra.
He played the guitar and orchestra concert by Bruno Bettinelli under the direction of Daniele Gatti. He made the first complete recording of 36 Capricci by Luigi Rinaldo Legnani.
In the new music he participated in the recording of a CD featuring works by young Mexican composers with the Sones Contemporaneos Ensemble.
He recently collaborated on the recording of Cd Albany Records containing selected works by Lithuanian Composer Jonas Tamulionis.
He holds the guitar chair at the Conservatory of Bolzano.
