He graduated with the highest marks at the G.Verdi conservatory in Milan under the guidance of M. Ben Omar.
In 1988 he was the winner of the International Competition Young Musicians of Stresa and of the National Percussion Competition of Bovino (Fg) and in 1990 of the International Competition Young Musicians "Ars Musica '90" in Brussels.
He participated in training courses held by famous percussionists.
He collaborates with the RAI orchestras, the Teatro alla Scala, "Arturo Toscanini" in Parma, Arena di Verona, the Genoa Theater, "Pomeriggi musicali" in Milan, the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano.
He also collaborates with some ensembles including the Percussionists of the Teatro alla Scala, Naqqara Percussion, Parma Percussionists, Entertainment Ensemble, Together Music Group, Byzantine Academy, Garbarino Ensemble, Next Time.
He also collaborates with Ater Balletto. He has performed concerts in Italy and abroad (Strasbourg, Leipzig, Berlin, Moscow, Leningrad, Paris, Vienna, Madrid, Athens, Warsaw, Nice) and recorded for Ricordi, Salabert, TV RAI Uno, Retequattro and Stradivarius.
He is currently a teacher of Percussion Instruments at the Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano.
