FOR ORCHESTRA CONDUCTORS ON MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY REPERTOIRE FOR ENSEMBLE
BRESCIA, MARCH 7-10, 2018
dèdalo ensemble is proud to announce the Ist Competition Città di Brescia, dedicated to the memory of the late composer and conductor Giancarlo Facchinetti (1936-2017).
The competition is open to conductors of any nationality with no age limit and is dedicated to the modern and contemporary repertoire for ensemble.
The competition will be held in Brescia from March 7 till March 10, Teatro Sancarlino (March 7,8,9, First round and Semifinal) and Auditorium San Barnaba (March 10, Final and public concert)
The prize concerts will be held in Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Romania.
The Grisey and Togni scores will be sent on request in pdf file after the application (Euro 50,00 fee included) has been completed.
The Stravinsky version is the Suite for 7 instruments.
The Copland, Weir, Murail scores are available for a cheap price on the publishers websites.
