Ionut Pascu

baritone

The baritone Ionut Pascu was born in Constanta, Romania.

Between 1996 and 2001 he studied singing at the National University of Music in Bucharest.

He began his 23-year career with two main roles: Don Giovanni in Mozart's homonymous opera and Marcello in La Bohème di Puccini.

On stage or in concerts many performances are followed by the success of Don Giovanni, most of them at the Opera House of Constance where for three years he has sung major roles in titles such as The Trovatore, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly, Cavalleria Rusticana, Carmen and many more including J.Strauss's Bat.

He has sung successfully in Holland, Australia, Italy, Germany, Macedonia, Hungary, Albania, South Korea, receiving audience and criticism.

Since 2004 he has been a guest in many theaters and since October 2005 he belongs to two fixed companies: The National Opera of Bucharest and the National Opera of Constance.

After four years of Orchestra Directorship at the same University of Music in Bucharest, he started conducting professional ensembles in the symphonic and operatic repertoire.

He earned the 2nd degree degree in Orchestra Direction at the Conservatory of Milan.
