He graduated from the Conservatory of Milan in 1979 with the highest marks under the leadership of Primo Borali.
He won the first prize at the Stresa Contest.
It was first perfected at Chigiana di Siena with Giuseppe Garbarino and later with Karl Leister.
He has participated in concerts with the theaters of Milan, Turin, Bologna, Rome, Capri, Lugano etc. In duo, trio, quintet.
He has recorded for various European broadcasters and for RAI has performed an entire music program of Italian composers dedicated to him.
Since 1980 he has been the first clarinet in the Orchestra del Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan.
As a soloist he collaborated with the Symphonic Orchestra of RAI and Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan.
He is a clarinet teacher at the G. Donizetti Music Institute in Bergamo.
